  • My Life Organised & Outlook

I am a committed Outlook user and am just adopting GTD.

I need to use Outlook because my business vitually lives in it but I am only too aware of Outlook's limitations in dealing with projects. It has no facility for nesting (indenting) sub-tasks and this is, in my opinion, the only sensible way to record them. I tried Franklin Covey's PlanPlus and after it nearly wrecked all my data couldn't get it of my machine fast enough.

My Life Organised (MLO) looks very interesting and I'd be interested to hear people's views on how well it integrates with Outlook. Should MLO be used on its own? Is synchronisation with Outlook worth doing? How well do they work together?

You will probably learn more by searching the MyLifeOrganized group.

Otherwise, I highly recommend simply trying it out. MLO is a lightweight app that you can simply download and run without installing. Read the help about syncing with Outlook and just try it out. There is a generous trial period.
