  • Another Outlook question... re. tasks completed or deleted

    I've been marking tasks as complete - because it is so nice to see them crossed out. The problem is that I don't hreally have the time or the room to be looking at what I have already done .

    Is there a way to not delete them right away, but not have them show up on my printed list each day?

    Use filters

    If you go to "customise current view" and then click on 'filters', then the "Advanced" tab, go to Field and select "frequently used fields" then "completed" and ensure the next bits say "equals" and "no" and then click on 'add to list'. Then "Okay" and "Okay" again and you now will have the Completed tasks showing in the Completed view and not the Categories view.

        I would also recommend getting the e-book from DA on setting up outlook for GTD - covers lots of settings like these
