  • GTD Trainer / Coach

    Hi everyone,

I've recently came across Getting Things Done, bought the book in August and it's been working great for me.
Beside being a secretary/ executive assistant, I'm also a trainer, in subjects like organization, personal and professional management, business writing, etc., here in Portugal.
I really would like to be a certified GTD trainer/coach. How can I become one? Is there a online coaching program or should I go to USA to attend a course or workshop?

    Thank you.

I didn't see any links from davidco.com, but there are websites out there offering such certification.

      Certification Program

      Hello,

Thatís a great question, and one we get asked a lot. We currently donít have an individual certification program, nor do we license out intellectual property to other trainers, although weíre not ruling it out for the future. Weíve been focused more on international expansion, and have a new Certified International Partner in the UK, with more to come.

Weíll post any new information on individual certification opportunities on our website (www.davidco.com) or in our newsletter (you can sign up at http://www.davidco.com/productivity_principles.php) as they become available.

In the meantime, I would encourage you to check the website for new articles, join connect (we offer a free membership), or read Davidís new book to keep your system tight, so youíre ready to go when we do have an offering.

Iím sorry we donít have the opportunity right now, but Iím hopeful this answered your question.

Well, thank you all for your answers.
I'll keep an eye on the website for further information.
I'll also leave you with the info that the book "Getting Things Done" was not yet published in Portugal, but I'll do my best to spread the word around.

          Question regarding GTD Essentials Certification

          Hi there,

I am a personal productivity consultant based in San Diego & San Francisco.

Iím passionate about sharing GTD, and am interested in becoming certified. Does DAC have any plans to offer the GTD Essentials program to individual consultants? I see this has been discussed in the past, and am hoping for an update.

          Thanks much,
          Tiffany Mock Holton
