Format

Two-hour to one-day Workflow Assessments

  • One consultation call prior to the on-site session, to assess needs and opportunities
  • One-day on-site, for up to three individual participant sessions, that provides one-on-one training to introduce and install the GTD methodology
  • One follow-up call, within three months of the on-site session
  • Personal evaluation based on the Cognitive Preference Survey (optional)

Participant Materials

  • Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity book
  • GTD® Workflow Map
  • Methodology Guides

Recommendations

  • Critical to manage client expectations for this program. People unaware of the GTD methodology often assume they can “get it” in a couple of hours. Though they will likely get a taste of capturing, clarifying, and organizing, they will not have the hours of practice necessary for most people to “stick with it” afterwards. This is an assessment, and a taster.
  • It is not unusual for a client, once they have the Assessment, to go ahead and contract for a full Workflow Coaching.
  • The Assessment can be very useful for recent graduates of the Mastering Workflow Courses, to assist in their implementation.

VIRTUAL WORKFLOW COACHING

The Virtual Workflow Coaching Program provides one-on-one training designed to introduce and install the GTD® methodology, utilizing telecommunication media. The Virtual Workflow Coaching Package is designed as a long-term engagement that supports steady and incremental progress in the client’s Path of GTD Mastery.

  • Define and manage their complete inventory of projects and actions with an integrated life management system

Format

  • Eight 60-minute Virtual Workflow Coaching sessions, scheduled at intervals to match the client’s learning style and objectives
  • Delivered using virtual meeting software
  • In order to get the full value and achieve defined objectives, an investment of time offline implementing these practices will be necessary
  • Personal evaluation based on the Cognitive Preference Survey (optional)

Participant Materials

  • Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity book

  • Methodology Guides

Recommendations

  • This program is useful for anyone who wants to improve their “workflow game,” no matter what their experience with GTD might be—from novice to veteran. It starts with where they are and allows them to take themselves to a new level.
  • If a client works with a personal assistant, spending at least one additional day working with the assistant and his/her coordination with the client is highly recommended.
