Productive Living
David Allen

Hello there,

This is a fertile season to take time for reflecting on where I've been and where I'm going, and to cast a vote for everyone to do the same. After all these years that I've been involved in the GTD methods, I am still in awe at the profound effect they have had, and continue to have, throughout the world. We hear about it from many of you, from the four corners, daily. I'm also appreciating my own journey with this work and uncovering the many faceted layers of how we get focus, control, and perspective, while maintaining balance—how, in other words, we get and stay "appropriately engaged."

2012 will be a big growth year for our company as my new CEO takes more of the helm of the day-to-day operations for our further global expansion and partnerships, to free me up for some exciting new curriculum design and creative projects. If you want to join me in heralding in whatever new chapter may be in store for you, my Food for Thought below may offer some nuggets.

Wherever you have been and wherever this coming year takes you, my staff and I wish you all the best, always.

David

DAVID'S FOOD FOR THOUGHT

Questions for completing and beginning the year

What have you actually finished, completed, and accomplished? If you haven't made a list in the last year, I would highly recommend that you give yourself a treat and review the year that just passed and look forward to the year ahead.

When I go through these kinds of questions I like to consider my answers in several areas:

Physical
Emotional
Mental
Spiritual
Financial
Family
Community Service
Fun / creativity / recreation
